What the developer line is

A store page names its publisher in a line most readers pass over. That line is useful because a title can be copied while the publisher account and the identifier behind it cannot be copied inside one store, and it is the line to read first when you want to be sure which listing you are looking at.

Reading the names

A website domain attached to a listing is a link the developer chose; it is not a proof of anything.

Differences between rows are shown, not explained; the stores' pages say nothing about why two listings differ, and neither does this one.

The links and lines the pages add

FxPro cTrader gives a website on fxpro.com, an e-mail address at spotware.com, a privacy policy on fxpro.com. cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts gives a website on ctrader.com, an e-mail address at spotware.com, a privacy policy on spotware.com. FxPro cTrader gives the copyright line “© 2026 Spotware Systems” and a seller website on fxpro.com. cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts gives the copyright line “© 2024 Spotware Systems Ltd.” and a seller website on ctrader.com.

These are the links as the pages give them. A domain a developer attaches to a listing is a public fact that can be compared with the domain of the broker's own site, www.fxpro.com. (reading of 6 November 2026, First Trade App)

A routine a reader can repeat

Anyone can repeat the reading: find the page, read the developer line and the identifier, and keep the date. The identifier is the part that stays the same when titles and order of search results change.

Reader questions

Before you tap install

Where on the store page is the developer named?

Under the title on both stores: Google Play prints the developer name, the App Store prints the provider. (reading of 6 November 2026, First Trade App)

Does the developer name say who holds my account?

No. It says under which name the app is distributed. Account documents say who holds an account. (reading of 6 November 2026, First Trade App)

Why does this page print identifiers?

A title can be copied; the package name or bundle identifier is what keeps two readings of the same listing comparable. (reading of 6 November 2026, First Trade App)

Can I check this myself?

Yes. Open the store pages named in the source line under each table; no account is needed. (reading of 6 November 2026, First Trade App)

The trading account

A first look is not a first trade

What these pages read is the store's side: the listing. Opening a live account is a separate step with the broker, with identity checks and rules about sending money abroad that sit outside any app. Read the broker page before you decide, and do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
